Just Sayin':

I don't like working with undocumented features. It is like the final scene in The Third Man.

Caution: read before use

For those downloading DevRiot for .Net: you need a live internet connection. The add-in installer just has the glue code needed to download the Riot engine.

For those interested in the eclipse feature: it will work the same way. This will allow us to provide on the fly the appropriate engine: java, c/c++ for Mac/.../...

Thanks!

Integrating

We started adding the work on Criot to the main DevRiot plugin/feature in Eclipse. It is cool how seamlessly the thing is working: creating tests without writing code in C or Java. Just point, right-click and go...

Xchooling

Xcode is not as cool as it looks. Eclipse style bookmarks wouldn't hurt :-}

So according to a comment poster the Austrian School is not about "free banking" (apparently malinterpretation by the article) but about finding a commodity that can not be created out of "thin air" to price other commodities/transactions.

What would that be? Would every major economy have access or agree to it? Would other countries have access to it? Is it natural? Is it artificial? Is there enough of it? How would we prevent another cartel?

The only commodity that complies with this is air. I wonder if the t-bond holders would accept the trade.

Austrich...

There is this article about heterodox economics. One of the camps is the Austrian School. Their tennets: get rid of the Fed, the dollar and let banks issue their own currency.

So how could joe doe in Bangor Maine pay for his kindle in Seattle, Wa? Should Amazon have as many mini Amazon as currencies exist? Or the other way around?

What about foreign treasury bond holders? What would they do if the greenback is taken off-line? Take gold, diamonds?

So how come the issuing banks will support their own currency? No wonder they do not get published. Good grief....

Coyote Democracy...

Oh, the beauty of shared memory! Allowing us the smuggle across borders and keep the separation of powers.

We will kext what needs to be kexted and keep in userland the bits of kriot that can be consumed by Linux/Mac/Windows (all of these within the realm of x86 processor)

64bit only...

Naïve approaches take their toll :-} No hard task switching, now does it live closer to the OS or to the processor? That is the question.

Not wp...

Would please stop "hacking" the server? If after 3 days you have not realized that exploiting the wordpress weaknesses does not work you should take a breather.

LDT, yes, ldt, no. So go figure it out yourself because in this neighbourhood the streets are empty.
